Ode to the Innocence Lost

Many children miss their father,
Without knowing their mother took him away,
A bond severed, a love erased,
In shadows of deceit, their hearts betray.

Many children search for their father,
Unaware of false claims that bind,
A web of lies, a courtroom’s glare,
Leaving innocence far behind.

Many children yearn to meet their father,
But legal chains keep him at bay,
A case constructed, a father exiled,
While childhood fades to gray.

Many children dream of playing,
With the father they hold so dear,
But a mother’s spite, a barrier built,
Denies the joy they crave to hear.

Oh, innocence, fragile and pure,
Caught in a storm of adult strife,
May truth and justice one day rise,
To heal the wounds and restore life.

Let the children’s voices echo,
In courts and hearts, let them be heard,
For they are the future, the hope, the light,
Their pain must not go unheard.

To the Innocence lost in the fray,
We vow to fight, to make things right,
For every child deserves the love,
Of both parents, their guiding light.
